Terms of Service

The basics

By creating an account on ForgeDB (forgedb.name.ng), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid accounts.

Your account

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password and API keys secure
  • All activity that happens under your account
  • Making sure your email address stays valid so we can reach you

If you believe your account has been compromised, revoke your API keys immediately and change your password. Contact us at quantumx.helpdesk@gmail.com if you need further help.

Acceptable use

You may use ForgeDB to store data for any lawful application. You may not use ForgeDB to:

  • Store, transmit, or process illegal content
  • Store personally identifiable information of people who have not consented to it being stored
  • Deliberately try to exceed plan limits through multiple accounts (account splitting)
  • Attempt to access other users' data or reverse-engineer the storage layer
  • Use the service to send spam or run automated abuse campaigns
  • Resell access to ForgeDB without permission

Violations will result in account suspension without refund.

Free plan

The free plan is provided as-is with no SLA. We reserve the right to change free plan limits with 14 days notice. We will not delete your free account for inactivity — the free plan is always-on with no sleep mode or pauses. Free accounts that violate these terms may be terminated immediately.

Pro plan and billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Paystack.

  • Monthly plans: billed each month, cancel anytime, access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Annual plans: billed once per year at a discounted rate
  • Refunds: we offer refunds within 7 days of a charge if the service was not working as described. Contact us at quantumx.helpdesk@gmail.com with your request.
  • If a payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. Your data is not deleted.

Your data

You own all data you store in ForgeDB. We claim no rights over it. We will not access, share, or use your data except to provide the service to you. If you delete your account, your data is deleted per the timeline in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

We aim to keep ForgeDB running at all times but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be announced via the in-dashboard banner with at least 24 hours notice. We are not liable for data loss or downtime, but we will always work to restore service as fast as possible.

Limitation of liability

ForgeDB is provided as a service without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from bugs, outages, or third-party failures (including GitHub or Cloudflare). You should maintain your own backups for critical production data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

If we decide to shut down ForgeDB, we will give users at least 60 days notice and provide a data export tool so you can retrieve everything you stored.

Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes, we will post a dashboard announcement and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use ForgeDB after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
